		<description>The beliefs of the ancients do, indeed, seem strange to us now. The cumin was actually baked into the bread of young soldiers marching off to war. Maidens hoped it would keep them true. As for the chickens, the cumin could have been mixed in with their grain.

I think it would be an interesting to start a new tradition. Toss a few cumin seeds at married couples as they leave for their honeymoon, or perhaps have them eat a bowl of chili at their recpetion!
